An aircraft fire emergency rescue system based on visual simulation

An aircraft fire emergency rescue system based on visualization was designed to improve the emergency response capability of airport firefighters for a sudden fire. This paper introduces the system function, composition, principle, implementation method and key technologies in detail. A kinematic model and a dynamic model of the fire truck, a combustion model and a water cannon model was built to calculate the evolution of the flame under the suppression of the fire water cannon foam accurately. The weather conditions (wind, rain, snow) and the time factors were fully considered during the drill. With the Russian tool named UNIGINIE, fire trucks, flames, firefighting water cannons, the airport and other objects in the airport displayed. The results showed that firefighters can use water cannon to put out a fire within the specified time, the system also can strengthen the firefighters' ability to respond of emergencies and help them to familiarize the surroundings of the airport, which is beneficial to solving the problem of insufficient drill in the airport.
