Processor Transformation for Integrated VoIP Soft-Switches

For a proprietary VoIP soft-switch product road map, it is planned to provide a service model as independent of hardware and compatible with NFV. Currently, Call Agent Core component of VoIP soft-switch and associated applications are compiled with Motorola PowerPC processor. The aim here is to port from Motorola PowerPC to Intel X86 processor architecture. In this study, requirement analysis and design items about Call Agent Core component are described.
