Yang's Substance Content Changing Law in Current Around Island

Using investigation data on chromium (Cr) in surface and bottom waters in Jiaozhou Bay in April, July and October 1982, this paper analyzed the substance content's changing law in current around island. Results showed that during the rising tide, surface water was moving from the outer side of the island to the inner side of the island, while it was bottom waters was moving from the inner side of the island to the outer side of the island, resulting in a space cycle between surface waters and bottom waters. During the falling tide, both surface water and bottom water were moving from the inner side of the island to the outer side of the island. The rising tide and falling tide represented that Yang's substance content changing law in current around island: Along with the flow direction of marine tide, the locations in one side of the island and another side of the island could be considered as the starting point and end point, respectively. Substance contents in the starting point and end point showed the vertical disputed amount and vertical sediment amount, respectively.
