Simple Evaluation Method of Residual Aberration Using Radius of Curvature in Reflectarray Antenna

In this paper, a simple evaluation method for the residual aberration of a reflectarray antenna using aberration theory is proposed. It is shown that the aberration is a part of the ellipsoid, and the residual aberration can be evaluated simply by approximating the radius of curvature to a spherical wave. The validity of the method by analysis and theoretical formula is demonstrated.
