Research on Short Duration Wind Power Variation Characteristics of GuiZhou Province and Fast Control Strategy

In the wind-rich areas, such as Guizhou Province, it brought a lot of adverse effects on frequency, stabilization and so on, because of the wind's randomness and Guizhou's special characteristics of mountain wind power. Base on this case, the paper researches the statistic characteristics of wind power, and raises a fast control strategy of the integration of wind and small hydropower. This strategy uses adjustable small hydropower to coordinate with wind power and to response to the control of AGC. The influence on system frequency and transmission power of tie line made by wind power can be reduced. The specific model and real data of GuiZhou provincial power grid are applieed in the paper to verify the feasibility and validity of the method.
