An spectral domain OCT system using All-fiber probe

In this article, we introduce a spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) system using all-fiber microsphere probe instead of traditional sample arm. Because of the spherical structure of the probe and the self-focusing effect of the multi-mode fiber, the probe used has good focusing effect. By matching the optical path between the sample arm and the reference arm and adjusting the distance between the probe and the sample, the optical path difference between the two arms is obtained. It improves performance of image reconstruction about different depth biological sample. The system has the advantages of small size, high precision and compact structure.
