Structural Approach to Analysis and Design of State-Feedback Active Damping for Grid-Tied Inverters

In this paper, a structural approach to analysis and design of general state-feedback active damping for grid-tied inverters equipped with LCL filters is proposed. The underlying principle is firstly to transform the resonance damping into a disturbance rejection problem through a structural model decomposition method. And then, for the disturbance rejection problem, a state-feedback-based control solution can be easily obtained, of which the popular capacitor-current-feedback active damping is a special case. Finally, the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis and design is well supported by simulation results.
