Research on Control Strategy of M3C Matrix Converter System

Modular multilevel matrix converter (M3C) is a new type of AC-AC power conversion device, which can realize the conversion of different amplitude, frequency and power factor at input and output. And it has great advantages in large-capacity power electronic conversion. In addition, the M3C can also achieve bidirectional conversion of power. So, this paper analyzes the working principle of the M3C system and establishes its mathematical model and analyzes and studies the control strategy of the electrical parameters in detail. At the same time, through the research and analysis of the existing M3C system control strategy, this paper finally determines the method of integrating and controlling the electrical parameters of the M3C topology is used to achieve safe and stable operation of M3C. Finally. fast dynamic response and robust static characteristics are achieved. By establishing the simulation model of M3C system structure, the control method of this paper is verified, and the reliability and stability of the control strategy of the M3C system are proved.
