Novel Sensor Applied on Dust Measurement for Integrated Circuits

With the development of electronic technology, PCB antenna is more widely used in industry application as a new type of sensor. In various electronic equipment, the influence of dust deposition on IC circuit is so serious that it cannot be ignored. In this paper, the deposition of dust in electric instrument is detected by using a PCB antenna based on Vivaldi strip line, and the paraffin which is close to the dielectric constant of dust particles is utilized. In the research process, a commercial full-wave simulation software based on finite element method is employed to analyze the PCB substrate antenna, and measurement is carried out to validate the simulation results, and good correlation is achieved.
