Nickel-Carbon Nanotubes Composite Electrodes for Electrochemical Oxidation of Methanol

The nickel-carbon nanotubes composite electrode can be use in electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol process in direct methanol fuel cells. As a result of the process the high surface area electrodes with the carbon nanotubes network covered the nickel have been obtained. The combination of the nickel and carbon material causes that the electrodes are characterized by high electrocatalytic activity and stability during electrochemical oxidation of methanol.
