Vertical Feeding Section with a Band-Rejection Filtering Function for a Low-Profile Antenna

A vertical feeding section with a band-rejection filtering function is proposed in this study, and its design method is elucidated. The millimeter waveband vertical feeding section is fabricated with the use of a multilayer resin board. The implemented feeding section yields good characteristics, and its size is reduced by 70% compared to conventional filters. Based on conducted experiments, its effectiveness is also confirmed in this study.
