Two-level Optimal Dispatch for Combined Heat and Power Systems Considered Uncertainty

To effectively solve the difficulty caused by the uncertainties of wind, photovoltaic and load in the combined heat and power (CHP) system, a two-level optimal dispatch model is established based on the probabilistic power flow model and demand response. The upper-level dispatch calculates the day-ahead real-time electricity price with the goal of minimum daily load variance, maximum user satisfaction and minimum system operation cost. Considering the fluctuation of wind power and photovoltaic output, the lower-level dispatch applies the probabilistic power flow to represent the uncertainties of the system and makes the dispatch plan aiming at minimum system operation cost so as to achieve the optimal dispatch for the system. The model not only considers the system security and economic operation, but also promotes thermoelectric decoupling and accommodates renewable energy. Simulation studies are shown to verify the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed model.
