Research Concept of Pattern Features of Generalized Load Curves in Future Power Systems

Due to the influence of the "generation-grid-charge-storage" end on the power system load, it is important to study the generalized load (GL) under the influence of various nonlinear coupling factors. In this paper, the definition and classification of GL in power system are given and the influencing factors of GL are analyzed. The main research contents of GL (GL characteristic analysis and GL forecasting) are expounded. The GL is discussed and studied in combination with the charging load of electric vehicles in this paper. The research results show that there are obvious differences between the GL curve and the traditional load curve, and the GL curves shows new characteristics in future power systems. The work of this paper provides important ideas and directions for the study of GL in future power systems, which can serve as a guideline for further relevant researches.
