Noise suppression in compressive imaging for power internet of things

As a critical acquisition end-device in power internet of things (IoT), camera plays an important role in electric power video surveillance for security protection. There is a conflict between the collected information by camera and the transmission bandwidth in IoT system. This paper proposes a uniform compressive imaging scheme of camera to remit this conflict by improving the imaging quality with lower transmission bandwidth. According to the structure of compressing imaging, a non-uniform measuring strategy, which reduces the ratio of -1 element in the uniform measurement matrix, is proposed to suppress Gaussian noise. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme achieves a better imaging quality by suppressing noise. Lower data storage is transmitted by the network of IoT, which reduces the requirement of network bandwidth.
