Coupling 2D Materials to an Elastomer Waveguide

We demonstrate the coupling of a MoS
₂
monolayer to a single-mode optical waveguide. The monolayer is encapsulated within a flexible elastomer chip, simplifying the handling and addressing of an otherwise fragile material.
