Estimation of Control Parameter for Obtaining Discrete Time-variant Delays in Grid Networks

In several data-intensive networked systems, Autonomous Decentralized Systems (ADS) have been regarded as efficient and reliable as compared to traditional networking architectures. However such systems have failed to comply effectively with inter-module latencies and peer-to-peer delay. Hence, the focus of network practitioners have always been biased towards yielding distributed network architectures employable for multi-objective networking applications. In this paper, a blueprint of a decentralized architecture is outlined, which primarily targets to optimize high-latency networks. A methodology to estimate control parameters is also discussed, which aids in moderating variance in the delay. In general, a more scientific problem is addressed, viz. to attain a certain degree of heterogeneity in homogeneous distributed systems. Several simulations case studies were carried out using OMNet++ with variable control parameters and simulation environments.
