The Research of Evidence Dynamic Reliability Evaluation Based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets

Based on the relationship between evidence theory and intuitionistic fuzzy sets, a new method for assessing the reliability of evidence is proposed. At First, we transform the basic probability assignments function in evidence theory into an intuitionistic fuzzy set. Then, the similarity between BPAs is calculated by similarity measure in intuitionistic fuzzy sets. On this basis, the relative reliability and absolute reliability of the evidence are obtained by analyzing the relationship between the degree of evidence support and the reliability of the evidence. Moreover, A kind of dynamic reliability evaluation mechanism is proposed and imported to future improve evidence combination. According to Dempster’s rule as well as the evidence discounting operation, A new evidence combination rule is applied and a comparative analysis is achieved to evaluate the evidence combination rule and the performance of the reliability evaluation method based on numerical examples. The results show that this method can effectively evaluate unreliable evidence.
