Modulating two Independent Signals Simultaneously on Single Optical Wavelength

In this paper we have introduced a relatively simple way to transmit and receive voice signals over Ethernet without needing internet connection. Today Voice over Internet Protocol VoIP is the usual method for establishing voice phone over existing computer networks. VoIP phones are complex and expensive in comparison with traditional phones. Since IP phone requires internet connection, the quality of voice extremely depends on quality of the internet connection. Also eavesdropping on internet is a common threat for VoIP users. The main goal of presented work is to overcome aforementioned VoIP problems and provide a secure, reliable and commercial voice link over the Ethernet. In this method the voice signal and network data will pass through optical fibers simultaneously without any interaction between them. Because this technique will eliminate the need for A/D and D/A converters, Ethernet adaptor and, internet connection, sending and receiving voice signals over Ethernet will be lower in costs and more secure against any Denial-of-Service DOS attacks and eavesdropping than traditional methods.
