A Novel Technique to regulate access to immoral content for Minors

Online Social Network is very common these days and has become an integral part of our daily lives which allows people to connect. Different application developers come up with new social networking sites to gain profits. The preadolescents and adolescents are the group of people who are most attracted to these new social networking sites. Some of the social networking sites may be useful but some of them may be harmful to the young generation which may lead to an unhealthy society. The immense popularity of these social networking sites especially among youngsters has led researchers to think about the security aspects of these sites. In this paper, an unique technique to block minors i.e children and adolescents from getting access to immoral images, videos and websites has been proposed. The user's Unique IDentity number (UID) is taken as an input and validated against the National Aadhaar card database. The National aadhaar card database is created and an algorithm is designed to retrieve users Aadhaar details from the UID repository and grant access to immoral content if the user is of legal age. The application is developed in C++ language, screenshots of the outputs are captured and displayed, the results thus obtained are tabulated and graphically represented.
