Study on axial vibration characteristics of transformer winding

The vibration method has been widely used in the diagnosis of transformer mechanical faults. In this paper, the axial vibration characteristics of the transformer winding are studied, which establishes the necessary theoretical basis for the study of vibration method. The axial vibration mechanism of transformer winding based on mass-spring model was introduced. The winding vibration test platform based on piezoelectric acceleration sensor was built. The axial vibration distribution characteristics of transformer winding were explored. The influence of load current and winding looseness were studied. The study found that the axial vibration of the transformer winding is approximately If-shaped, and the current fluctuation has no obvious influence on the vibration distribution of the winding. With the pre-tightening force of the winding changing, the vibration distribution of the winding changes.
