Charge and Discharge Control and Equalization Control Strategy of Charger Rear Stage

The electric vehicle charger is composed of the front-stage rectifier and the rear-stage DC/DC converter. This paper takes the electric vehicle charger as the object, and mainly studies the battery equalization control strategy in the charging and discharging process of the charger. The non-isolated Buck-Boost conversion circuit is used as the DC/DC converter, and the current is controlled to charge and discharge the battery. And the active equalization control strategy is adopted for the difference of the battery itself. The MATLAB/Simulink simulation realizes the charge, discharge and equalization control of the battery, so that the SOC difference of the battery during charging and discharging is minimized, thereby achieving the simultaneous charging and discharging tasks. The effectiveness of charge and discharge control and equalization control is verified by simulation comparison.
