Anti-jamming of Range-velocity Synchronous False Targets under the Ultra-high Speed Targets Detection of Radar

The deception jamming of range-velocity synchronous false target can deceive radar in both range and velocity dimensions simultaneously, and the jamming wave forms are highly similar as the target echo which can confuse the detection radar systems. Therefore, it is necessary to take corresponding countermeasures for radar system. However, the traditional detection methods that using only one dimension of range-velocity, might possibly leads to false detection results due to insufficient information. And thus the systems using these methods will be usually vulnerable to jamming attacks. In order to overcome the deficiencies of these methods, based on analyzing the factors that affect the performance of the jamming, an alternative way of anti-jamming by employing the four dimensions memory tracking mechanism which contain range, velocity, azimuth and pitch information is proposed in this paper. The effectiveness of this method is systematically analyzed. We firstly carried out the investigation of the scene based on detecting ultra-fast speed target with pulse radar which has the ability of measuring range and velocity, and then established jamming model of range-velocity synchronous false target. Moreover, the mechanism of anti-jamming for range-velocity synchronous false target is investigated. We detail discussed the principle of four-dimensional memory tracking mechanism, and presented the algorithm of anti-jamming. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithms is evaluated analytically and it was verified by typical simulation results.
