A Simplified Path Tracking Design for Stratospheric Airship with Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control Approach

The flight control of the stratospheric airship is simplified to fly in horizontal plane and is investigated with linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC). A second-order LADRC controller is used to control the yaw angle, while a first-order LADRC controller is used to control the speed. Simulations show that the two controller’s parameters can be tuned independently. The airship can track circle path while the initial position and velocity errors are attenuated.
