Data acquisition system based on galvanically isolated ADCs

Data acquisition systems based on galvanically isolated ADCs are widely used in probe techniques for plasma research. Such system was developed in the Budker Institute of nuclear physics for GDT magnetic mirror device. This system includes eight isolated ADC modules (5 MSPS, 16 bit) united by the common data collection node. This node receives data from the ADC modules and controls them. The received data does not accumulate inside the node itself, but is transmitted in real time via high-speed optical communication channel to the data processing module. The data processing module is a universal device that allows you to receive, store and process data obtained from various diagnostics.
