Structural Design and Test of Movable Wake Maker

Aiming at the requirement of multi-side wave experiment for the physical model during the port and offshore engineering design stage, a movable wake maker structure is proposed. The calculation of wave making parameters and the selection of key components are carried out. The mechanical structure, assembly and working mode of the wave maker are described in detail. The actual working test shows that wave height and period meet the design requirements. Furthermore, the accuracy, uniformity and repeatability of generated waves are better than the industry specifications.
