Frequency Dependence of Wave Field Power for One-Hop Limiting Paths in Low Solar Activity Conditions

Possibility of formation the feature, in a form of deep trough, in frequency dependence of the wave field strength for one-hop paths with distances near classical limiting distance 3000 km at low level of solar activity is considered. Model calculations in the framework of global ionospheric model IRI with standard (IRI) and alternative (IRI+SDMF2) representation for the F2 layer of the ionosphere are compared with some experimental results.
