Design and Development of Combined SF6 Enclosed Gas Insulated Series Resonance Testing Equipment

The primary equipment newly installed or after being maintained must undergo on-site withstand voltage test to find out the latent insulation defects in the equipment. Meanwhile, it can also be checked whether the installation quality meets the requirements and whether the equipment is damaged in the course of transportation and installation. At present, the equipment for withstand voltage test has large weight and volume and high height, the result of which is high cost, difficult transportation of test equipment, high installation intensity and low efficiency. Therefore, a combined SF6 enclosed gas insulated series resonance testing equipment is designed in this paper. The electric field and temperature field of the testing equipment are simulated by using finite element method. The results show that the distribution of electric field and temperature field of the reactor in the testing equipment can meet the design requirements under the rated voltage. Compared with the traditional testing equipment, the design in this paper reduces the volume and weight , shortens the installation time of testing equipment for the field handover test, improves the efficiency, and guarantees the field test demand of primary equipment.
