Simulation of Scattering Characteristics of Complex Targets In the Air

A high-precision three-dimensional model of air complex target (MQ-9) is established by ANSYS, and it is discretized into multiple triangular facets. It calculates the backscattering cross-sectional area (RCS) of the target by using high frequency algorithm based on physical optics (PO) and incremental length diffraction coefficient theory (ILDC). Then to obtain high resolution range image (HRRP) and two-dimensional distance image (SAR),it performs discrete Fourier transform on the echo data in the time domain and adopts corresponding analys to analyed strong geometrical position of the scattering point . The electromagnetic scattering characteristics and coupled imaging mechanism of complex targets in the air are analyzed by using ray theory, and the validity and accuracy of the simulation results are verified.
