Forecasting the Production of Electrical Energy from Photovoltaics

The production of electricity from renewable energy sources (RES) increases every year. For Bulgaria, a serious relative share is that obtained from photovoltaics. Because of its volatile nature, however, it creates a number of problems. One of the most important is related to its forecasting. Although there are different forecasting methods, much is currently being done to increase their reliability and accuracy. This determines the high priority of the present research work.
