Electromobility and Climate Change

At the moment, the generalization of electric transportation creates the fear that this will increase both global warming and CO
2
pollution generated from power plants using fossil fuels as a result of increased electricity demand. The paper analyzes the real situation in Romania and abroad in terms of pollution sources and the modern methods that our society will provide in the near future: energy storage in batteries and the massive recycling the waste battery materials.
