New Mode of Smart Substation Protection

In view of the problems faced by smart substation protection in the large-scale data transmission process of substation, a new smart substation protection composition mode is constructed, that constitutes the local protection localization and the backup protection station domain. The specific process of the main protection issuing trip signal and the backup protection fast fault location is described in detail. Compared with the existing network mining network hopping mode of the intelligent substation, the information transmission delay of the station is reduced by about 10ms. In the method, when the host domain failure or communication interruption causes the backup protection to fail, the localized main protection function is not affected and has certain reliability.
