The Application of Model-Based Inspection Instruction for Intelligent Manufacturing

In recent years, with the rapid development of new generation manufacturing technology represented by intelligent manufacturing, the traditional inspection technology system are facing new opportunities and challenges. This paper presents a model-based inspection instruction (MBII) in for intelligent manufacturing. MBII uses the MBD model with inspection information as the sole inspection basis, and combines the MBD model closely with inspection resources. Based on the CAPP technology and three-dimensional model lightweight technology, the visual guidance of inspection process and real-time feedback of inspection results are realized. To a certain extent, it reduces the work difficulty of inspectors and the errors in the process of inspection execution. It provides an effective support for the application of digital inspection technology.
