A Numerical Approach of Graphene Non-Linear Electromagnetic Response

In the present work, graphene non-linear phenomena are introduced in the finite-difference time-domain algorithm through the dynamic evaluation of its surface conductivity at each time-step. The latter is influenced via the action of the carrier density on graphene that is significantly altered when strong excitation is applied. The developed algorithm is validated by the quantification of the normal propagation distortion.
