Backprojection and Integration for the Multi-Scale Spatial Model in Radio Tomographic Imaging

The projection model and reconstruction method play an important role to improve the performance of Radio Tomographic Imaging(RTI)and the accuracy of Device-Free Localization(DFL). Because of the heterogeneous impact area of shadow fading, the multi-scale spatial model is developed to promote the fine-grained detectability of RF links. It is necessary to effectively utilize the multi-state information. Thus this paper uses a backprojection method to estimate the multi-modal image of shadow fading by the reaction of RF links. And the obtained multi-modal images can be reasonably integrated into a superior image based on the contribution of RF links. The experimental results show that the reconstruction quality of RTI and the accuracy of DFL by the proposed method are improved than that directly estimated by Tikhonov Regularization.
