Improving the Efficiency of Radar Control of Airspace with the Multilateration System Use

It was done the analysis possibility of multilateration system use in conjunction with the existing radar facilities during radar control of the airspace. It was given the possible variants of detection, determination of coordinates and accompaniment of air objects that seek to be unnoticed or to carry out mimicry. Was reviewed the information capabilities of the multilateration system. The directions of the combination of possibilities of the multilateration system and information from the existing radar means were determined. It was considered the possibilities of obtaining data from the multilateration system in radio technical units. As receivers of the multilateration system, were use the ADS-B system receivers was proposed. The principle of operation of the distance-range method, which underlies the operation of the multilateration system, was considered in determining the coordinates of air objects. It was given the features and limitations on the use of information from the multilateration system.
