Numerical Accuracy of Finite-Difference Methods

The finite-difference methods are widely used for electromagnetic field analysis in both of time and frequency domains. In this paper, we clarify computational accuracy of the finite-difference time-domain method and the finite-difference frequency-domain method by analyzing scattering problems of metallic cylinder.
