Decoupling of Orthogonally Polarized Dipole Array on Patch Type Meta-Surface with Parasitic Cell

A Low-profile and decoupling orthogonally polarized dipole array is achieved by combining a patch type meta-surface with a proposed parasitic cell. The results of analysis with the moment method clarify that our parasitic cell can suppress mutual coupling of the antenna array without additional impedance. In addition, the maximum decoupling effect of 12.3 dB is achieved.
