A X-Band Wide-Scan Phased Array System Based on Rotman Lens

Wideband Wide-Scan antenna system has been widely used in electronic reconnaissance domain. In view of this requirement, a wideband wide-scan phased array system based on Rotman lens is proposed. In this paper, the design of the system is introduced in detail, and a method of optimization and calibration for the system is proposed. The test results show that the method eliminates the amplitude phase error caused by the Rotman lens and solves the problem of the state change of the device used in system. The system can achieve ±45° scan angle in the range of 8-12GHz, it's mean side-lobe is less than -25dB. The application result show that the system has quite strong ability of anti-jamming and coverage of space domain.
