An Air Transmission Line Above Dielectric Layer

The characteristic impedance and effective relative permittivity determination of the transmission line is presented in this paper. In the calculations, it is assumed that there is a quasi TEM mode of propagation on the observed transmission line. Equivalent electrodes method and software package FEMM are applied for those calculations. The obtained results are compared mutually and shown in tables and graphics.
