Double-Peaks Suppression on Flow-Induced Vibration of the Head-Gimbal Assembly in Hard Disk Drives

This work investigates the double-peaks suppression on flow-induced vibration (FIV) of the head-gimbal assembly (HGA) in a hard disk drive (HDD) using a PZT actuator. The PZT exciting voltage is designed through the FIV spectrum which is divided into two parts. Each part contains the frequency range of the focused two principal peaks.
