Time-Stretch based Photonic Analog-to-Digital Convertors for Spectrum Detection

We demostrate a photonic time-stretch based ADC system. A custom-built mode locked laser is used for low-jitter pulse generation. The stretch factor of 11.4 has been approched to provide a sample rate up to 285GSa/s, which can be used for spectrum detection.
