Research on Fault Diagnosis in the Railway Power Transmission Line Based on the Modern Mathematical Methods

The 10kV railway power transmission line simulation model is established by using MATLAB/Simulink software in this paper. Based on the characteristics of phase current difference, combined with zero-sequence current feature vector, BP neural network is established to classify faults. The fault location formula of overhead line-cable hybrid line is derived. The time of the mutation point in the fault traveling wave is detected by the phase-mode transformation method and wavelet transform modulus maximum method. Calculate fault distance to realize fault location. The simulation results show that the fault diagnosis method proposed in this paper can accurately determine the type and location of the fault in the railway power transmission line. These recognition results are not affected by fault inception angle, transition resistance and fault type.
