The Design of Surveillance System Based on Hi3520D

In this paper, we design a Linux-based embedded DVR monitoring system. Firstly, the kernel driver of receiving chip is designed for Hi3520D to control its receiving mode, so that the video data captured by the camera is transferred to data receiver which carries on the AD conversion and the data preprocessing via BT.656 interface. Then the processed data is transmitted to the master chip Hi3520D. Finally, we use output interface and network transmission to complete playback operation. In order to implement the parallel operation of the multifunction module, we have achieved following functions, such as video data acquisition, flow configuration of video encoding and decoding, realization of thread mode. The video data is transmitted via RTSP\RTP protocol to attain the goal of network video surveillance.
