Compact Multi Antennas with High Isolation Using Dipole and Monopole Modes

A small integrated multi antennas with high isolation characteristics is proposed. Orthogonal modes of dipole and monopole on symmetric configuration of the antennas can significantly reduce coupling between two ports of the multi antennas. Simulated results on the antennas show that coupling less than -50dB for frequency range of 0.7 to 1.3 fc has been obtained. Fractional bandwidth for which the return loss is less than -10 dB is more than 2.5%.
