Research on Stability of Active Oil Supply Radial Dynamic Pressure Bearings

Under the influence of internal structure and external factors, the radial dynamic bearing is prone to instability during high speed operation, which leads to low processing precision or waste products. The paper studies the feasibility of the internal pressurization mode to change the stability of dynamic pressure bearing. The pressure control equation of active control dynamic pressure bearing is established, the dynamic characteristics of hydrodynamic bearing under different eccentricity are calculated, and the results show that the active pressure bearing can not only reduce the cross stiffness but also not damage the direct damping, At the same time can effectively improve the stability of dynamic pressure bearing.
