Simulation of HVDC Transmission Control System on MODELS

The control system is the core of DC transmission. Establishing a reasonable control system simulation model has great significance for high voltage and even UHV transmission. The control model of the existing simulation software has the problems of simple model and the difference from the actual system. To solve this problemthe this paper proposes to use the MODELS module in ATP-EMTP to process the control part of the HVDC transmission. The control program is written in the MODELS programming language used by the MODELS module to modularize the control system. It is not necessary to simplify the system due to model limitations, so that the control system model is more in line with the actual project and the accuracy of simulation model is improved. Apply it to the ±500kV Debao DC project and achieve the desired results.
