Evaluation of an Automated Potentiometer Using a Programmable Josephson Voltage Standard

We report the results of a comparison of DC voltage measurements between an automated potentiometer based on a binary voltage divider (BVD) and a programmable Josephson voltage standard (PJVS). The measurements were carried out at voltages from 10mV to 10 V. BVD was linearized by the self-calibration function of the potentiometer, and the potentiometer was standardized at 10-V level using a Zener standard calibrated with PJVS. The results showed that the relative differences of the measured values are 0.02 μV/V, 0.1 μV/V, and 1.5 μV/V at 10 V, 1 V, and 100 mV, respectively.
