Bruce Francis-His Influence and My Recollections [Historical Perspectives]

Bruce Francis passed away in the morning of March 27, 2018. I was notified of this sad fact by an e-mail from Steve Morse. Bruce had battled Parkinson's disease for quite some time, and I heard that his health had deteriorated significantly since March 2017. It was thus not entirely unexpected. Still, sadness fully occupied my heart, and it induced me to recall my memories of him.
