Design and Performance Analysis of Operational Transconductance Amplifier Using FinFET

Operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) is used in active filters and other various devices which requires to be low power consumption with high gain, so for the purpose of which a FinFET based OTA is proposed. The main characteristics of the proposed FinFET based OTA such as gain, power consumption, unity gain frequency(UGF), Slew Rate and CMRR (common-mode rejection ratio) were calculated and compared with a conventional CMOS two-stage OTA. The proposed OTA enhances the performance by improving the different parameter like DC gain by 16.66%, PM by 12.9%, CMRR by 26.78

and slew rate by 166.66%. It reduces the power dissipation by 79.04% and delay by 71.95%.
