A Wirelessly-Powered 1.46GHz Transmitter with On-Chip Antennas in I80nm CMOS

In this paper, we present a wirelessly-powered bat-tery-less transmitter with fully integrated on-chip antennas for Internet of Things (IoT) and biomedical applications. The whole chip size is
$3.9 \times 1.9\ \mathrm{mm}^{2}$
including the on-chip antennas. The transmitter uses on-off-keying modulation and operates in duty cycles. The chip harvest power at 7GHz and transmits back at 1.46GHz with −21 dBm output power achlevlnz a data-rate of 50Mbps.
